Making up bigger things

I have good news, and it's BIG!

I recently sold my Grace Q'nique 14+ and replaced it with a Q'nique 21 PRO. I retained my automated system and popped this baby onto my existing frame. Just a few adjustments were needed and I was all set to sew bigger and better things!

Two of my favorite features of the new machine are the faster, smoother motion and the low bobbin indicator. But, of course, best of all is that massive throat space! Now I have the ability to sew larger rows at a time, so I can make patterns much larger than I could before.

These pictures are of 10" square blocks; leftover pieces from a layer cake that's gone stale for me now. This is the same design sewn using my previous maximum space and with the new maximum space. You can see how this will be so great on larger quilts; the proportions will be just right. Also, you can see what beautiful stitches both machines make. I've been so happy with my longarms from the Grace company. If anyone is in the market for a beginner longarm, I would highly recommend them.

Now it's time to have a sale! I'm calling it my Grand re-opening sale and it runs through June 17. All quilts lap size and larger will be quilted for 15% off. I define a lap size as about 54" x 68".

Email me today to make an appointment to drop off your quilt (or get on my waiting list if I have a rush) before June 17 to qualify. Let your friends know, too, if you like the service I provide as your longarm quilter.

I look forward to seeing the big quilts you've been working on!
